Asiana Airlines is extending its complimentary Economy Smartium (ES) and Extra Legroom seat upgrade promotion for passengers traveling from JFK to Korea and beyond.
This promotion is available exclusively to Korean travel agencies and applies only to qualifying round-trip tickets issued within the updated promotional period.

  • Ticketing Period:
    Originally: Sep 3, 2025 – Sep 30, 2025 → Extended to Oct 24, 2025

  • Travel Period:

    • From JFK: Oct 1 – Dec 15, 2025 / Jan 1 – Mar 31, 2026

    • From ICN: Oct 2 – Dec 20, 2025 / Jan 10 – Apr 30, 2026

  • Routes: JFK to ICN / MNL / CEB / SGN / DAD / BKK / PNH / CAN / PVG / PEK

  • Fare Classes: Y / B / M / H / E / Q / K / A / S (Round-trip only)

🎁 Promotion Details

  • To Korea: JFK–ICN round-trip, S-Class or above

    • Eligible Flights: OZ221 / OZ222 / OZ223 / OZ224

    • Benefit: Complimentary Economy Smartium or Extra Legroom seat upgrade

  • Beyond Korea: JFK–ICN one-way, S-Class or above

    • Eligible Flights: OZ221 / OZ223 only

    • Benefit: Complimentary Economy Smartium or Extra Legroom seat upgrade

⚠️ Important Notes

  • If travel dates are changed after ticketing (JFK departure or ICN return), ES/Extra Legroom upgrade cannot be re-authorized (no reissue)

  • ICN lounge access is not included with Economy Smartium

  • For Extra Legroom seats located at emergency exit rows, standard emergency seat regulations apply (refer to website and official guidelines)

  • If the passenger does not meet safety criteria for emergency exit seating, seat may be reassigned at the airport
